tensile strengths
7-STEP GUIDE TO BUILDING A VOID-FREE, BONDED, COMPOSITE POST & CORE
WITH ENCORE AND ENCORE AF
1) Enlarge root canal to accept NeedleTube. Bevel the edges to eliminate sharp angles.
2) Etch the post hole, rinse thoroughly and dry.
3) Apply bonding agent according to manufacturers instructions.
4) Mix Encore / Encore
AF. Backload into a NeedleTube until
1/2 full. Insert plug.
5) Load NeedleTube into syringe and bend needle as required. Insert NeedleTube to the bottom of the post hole and inject material with slow gradual pressure.
6) Continue filling by injecting and slowly
withdrawing the needle.
7) Allow Encore / Encore
AF to cure and then cut and shape the core. The result is a solid, securely bonded post and core.

RapidCore® Complete depth of cure, without light activation in only two minutes
RapidCore makes depth of cure fast and worry-free.
It’s easy. Simply inject RapidCore through the exclusive mixing
nozzle needletip and you are ready to cut the prep in two minutes.
Achieve high bond strengths when used with a compatible bonding agent
such as Adhere™. RapidCore’s advanced thixotropic
formula flows smoothly through the needle yet will not slump, making
core forms and matrix bands unnecessary.
The first unit-dose, automix core buildup material with fluoride.
This self-cure composite resin provides complete depth of cure,
without light activation in only two minutes. Unit-dose dispensing
provides for the fastest core buildup, without a heavy, clumsy
automix syringe; and MiniMix technology virtually eliminates waste.
It's even easier. Simply snap RapidCore MiniMix cartridge into
a C-R® Syringe and squeeze the material through the exclusive
mixing nozzle needletip. You're ready to cut the prep in two minutes.
RapidCore's advanced thixotropic formula flows smoothly through
the needle yet will not slump, making core forms and matrix bands
unnecessary.

SuperCure® Light-Activated Core Buildup Material
Build a high-strength core faster with SuperCure.
Inject direct from pre-filled syringe tip to mouth. Light activate
to a dentin-like hardness. Just place a tip of SuperCure light-activated
core buildup material in your Centrix syringe and inject. There’s
no mixing, no wasteful automix nozzles, and no cross-contamination.
Stacks beautifully, without slump, so matrices are not required.
The translucent color of SuperCure deep cures with any light source,
eliminating the need to wait 5 minutes before you prep. Compatible
with all light-activated dentin bonding agents. You’ll get a
high strength, securely bonded core buildup in a fraction of the time!
There are three versions for you to choose from.
Original
Supercure®
Syringes easily and stays where placed without slump. Cures fast and
deep. The barium borosilicate glass filler cuts easily, letting you
prep the core with less stress and heat buildup. With a hardness similar
to dentin, SuperCure is the original easy-to-use, high-strength core
buildup material for all crown and bridge buildups.
SuperCure®-Q
SuperCure formula with a percentage of hard quartz glass filler. SuperCure-Q
preps noticeably harder than the original, to reduce the chance of
ditching in critical areas. You’ll get the same deep curing,
high strength buildup as our original formula, in a new, harder cutting
version.

Guaranteed to produce high-strength adhesion when used with SuperCure®,
RapidCore™, Encore® or Encore D/C. Adhere bonds all types of resins to tooth
structure with a simple, total-etch technique.
Adhere is designed specifically to give you high adhesion* when used with any
of Centrix’ composite core buildup materials. And, it is compatible with other
resin materials, such as flowable composites, hybrid composites, or resin cements.
No matter what type of curing is required, the 2-bottle Adhere bonding system
is the technique-simple bonding agent that guarantees you reliable results!
After etching with Onyx™ phosphoric acid, simply apply two generous coats of
Adhere adhesive to dentin and enamel surfaces. (If you are using a self-cure or
dual-cure material, mix a drop of self-cure activator into two drops of the adhesive).
And apply your core buildup material.
Introducing the LubeCube. Clean and lubricate your sculpting
instrument by simply running it through the slit on top.
Put an end to composite stickiness, pull-back and unnecessary voids. With
LubeCube, simply peel off the adhesive back, stick it to a surface and slide
your instrument tip through the slit. The cleaning and lubricating action will
allow you to shape with ease. At Centrix, we make dentistry easier
Cleans, conditions and lubricates instruments with an unfilled,
light-activated, Bis-GMA/UDMA resin monomer
Lubricant is compatible with all light-activated and dual-cure
composites. No alcohol, no solvents.
Self-adhesive back allows placement anywhere that is convenient
No-drip dispensing of lubricant micro-coats each instrument
Sculpt composites faster and easier, with less “pull-back”
Makes any composite instrument “non-stick”
Opaque foam cube keeps resin lubricant from polymerizing
Low cost, single use and disposable
Smoother, less porous composite surfaces (see illustration on reverse side)
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Grab the tab and peel backing off bottom of LubeCube.
2. Place LubeCube in desired location (back of hand, bib, tray, etc).
3. Insert tip of composite instrument into slit of LubeCube. Glide tip of composite instrument back and forth
in slit to clean and lubricate.
4. Remove composite instrument and begin sculpting the restoration. Repeat steps 1 thru 4 as desired until restoration is complete. Dispose of used LubeCube.
